About Adam

Adam Ruf is a leading user experience designer helping teams build products and features that save time and empower people to work smarter. He's currently a UI/UX Designer at Twitch, a popular design mentor, and public speaker.

Adam has delivered design work for and consulted with dozens of organizations, including Yahoo, CapitalOne, UserTesting, Picaboo, Jhana, Sensilk, and many more. He taught courses on both UX research & design and front-end web development at the Academy of Art University. Adam has also presented talks and workshops to hundreds of designers at places like Tradecraft, General Assembly, UXNight, and the Ideate Conference.

Most importantly, Adam provides training and mentorship for entrepreneurs and the next generation of designers, helping to develop critical design skills, hard-working portfolios, and design-driven cultures. Through talks, workshops, and 1:1 mentoring, he's passionate about helping designers level up their skills and impact.

Adam feels incredibly lucky to live in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife, where they spend their free time laughing, learning, and exploring the world.
