Adam Ruf is a leading user experience designer helping teams build products and features that save time and empower people to work smarter. He's currently a UI/UX Designer at Twitch, a popular design mentor, and pioneering design streamer.
Adam has delivered design work for and consulted with dozens of organizations, including Twitch, Yahoo, BrightRoll, CapitalOne, and UserTesting. He taught courses on intermediate UX research & design and front-end web development at the Academy of Art University. Adam has also presented talks and workshops to hundreds of designers at places like Tradecraft, General Assembly, Cascade SF's UXNight, and the Ideate Conference.
Most importantly, Adam provides leadership and mentorship for the next generation of design professionals, helping individuals develop critical design skills, hardworking portfolios, and design-driven cultures. By running weekly design streams, facilitating design contests, workshops, and 1:1 mentoring, he's actively helping designers level up their skills and impact.
Adam feels incredibly lucky to live in the San Francisco Bay Area with his incredible wife, where they spend their free time laughing, learning, hiking, and exploring the world.
