Adam Ruf is an experienced product designer. He helps teams build products and features that save time and empower people to work smarter. He's also a popular design mentor, and pioneering design streamer.
Adam has served as a product designer at Twitch, Yahoo, BrightRoll, and UserTesting. He taught courses on intermediate UX research & design and front-end web development at the Academy of Art University. Adam has also presented actionable talks and workshops to hundreds of designers ( Tradecraft, General Assembly, Cascade SF's UXNight, and the Ideate Conference).
Adam provides leadership and mentorship for the current and next-generation design professionals. Weekly design streams, facilitating design contests, workshops, and 1:1 mentoring are some of the ways he gives back to the design community. Adam enjoys helping people develop critical design skills, hardworking portfolios, and design-driven cultures.
Adam is lucky to live in the San Francisco Bay Area with his incredible wife. Together, they love laughing, learning, playing, hiking, swimming, and exploring the world.
